Default extensions when starting a new search

When you start a new search you can usually specify which domain extensions you want to search. For example, on the main search of upname.com, there is a radio button below the search box, to filter your results to some popular extensions, or to search all existing extensions.

UpName offer you to filter your search to the most popular domain extensions from your georgraphic location. For example, users from the USA will see ".com, .net or .org" as their default popular extensions.

You can easily change this list by clicking "edit" next to the list of extensions. This will open a dialog with all existing extensions to choose from. There will also be an additional option to save this new slection as your default for all future searches. Otherwise, this new selection will only apply to the current search.

You can also set your default search extension(s) in your search preferences. You must be logged in to save your search preferences.
